10 secrets to being CHIC
For sure, lots of us ask ourselves sometimes a question: How can I always be chic? I think that being chic might mean something different for each of us. However, there are some universal rules that are worth implementing to accomplish the desired effect. At a minimum they are worth considering.
In this post, I would like to present to you advice written by Tish Jett from her book “Forever Chic. Frenchwomen’s Secrets for Timeless Beauty, Style and Substance”. Tish believes that using these 10 rules guarantee that we will always look younger and more stylish.
SECRETS TO BEING CHIC
Always keep your head up and your arms straight, regardless of whether you sit or stand. Cloths fall better into place!

A natural look and natural effect is your rationale. Minimal make up, loose and bouncy hair able to flow around your face naturally. Nothing artificial that nullifies the nonchalant effect.
3. BEAUTY CARE
Take some time and money for yourself to keep all in good form. You deserve that!
4. STOP BOTHERING
Learn how to turn things you don’t like into your asset. We are too mature to bother ourselves with details.
5. YOU ARE UNIQUE
Emphasize your assets. You don’t have limitations, they are just different, unrepeatable, yours. This is you.
6. EACH DAY IS A GOOD OPPORTUNITY
French women live with such assumptions. Just get up, get dressed and go out.
7. BE POLITE
Always be nice and polite. A smile is the best facelift!

8. POETRY IN MOTION
Breathe energy into your way of walking. Walk with energy and grace. There is no reason to walk nonstop in high heeled shoes. Even in flat pumps you may still look chic and young.
9. FLOW IN A CLOUD
Flow in a cloud of fragrance. Don’t forget about a drop of perfume.
10. PRETEND UNLESS YOU LEARN
How much are people really self-confident? Who knows? Apply all this advice and you will come across as self-confident and full of energy.
