A green wrap dress
Today I am inviting you for a walk in the Saska Kepa district. I like to go there sometimes, preferably early in the morning when it’s almost empty. I go for a cup of coffee at the “Rue de Paris” café, where the monument of Agnieszka Osiecka is located – the great Polish poet and song writer. I come here seldom, but every time I am here there are fresh flower’s left by a fan at Osiecka’s favorite table. Everybody loves her art. I find it very touching (you can see the flowers in one of the pictures).
I love May – it’s my favorite month. I think it’s because I love colors and I always look for them. And in May everything blossoms so beautifully, particularly this supernaturally lime green vegetation all around is just simply amazing! Magic! Saska Kepa is very green, and there are also many blossoming lilacs in May.
You already know that I love colors, and today my beloved green plays the main role. This color is difficult to wear, and it’s worth contrasting it with another color. My favorite combination is green and navy blue.
I love dresses, and I wore one of my favorite wrap dresses. This is exactly the type of dress that I love to wear and in my opinion it’s the most flattering type of a dress for a silhouette like mine. On the one hand it delicately emphasizes the figure, and on the other hand I feel comfy in it because I also have a big bust and I don’t want to show it off too much.
Because it’s a patterned dress, I decided not to wear a necklace. I only added cute crystal earrings which beautifully reflect the light and are sparkly. Such details, like jewelry, can really add so much to a dress. You don’t need much with such a patterned dress. I added a pair of green shoes and a spring navy blue and green coat. Although this is a double-sided coat, up until now I have always worn the navy blue side out.
This dress is classic and yet modern at the same time. What I like best about this dress, is that I can wear it on so many different occasions. For example, I wear it as an everyday style dress, with nude ballerinas in the summer time. Moreover, it’s soft and stretchy and is wrinkle free so I take it with me when I travel. With high heeled shoes, this dress is more chic and in such an outfit I could go as a guest to an event like a birthday party or a first communion celebration. I feel like a million dollars in it!
