BARCELONA
Barcelona – beautiful, colorful, vibrant, and full of life. It’s Spain’s second most populous city in Spain, and the capital city of the autonomous region of Catalonia.
Probably the first thing one thinks about regarding Barcelona is the Sagrada Familia, the big, unfinished church designed by the great visionary Antonio Gaudi. Many tourists start their trip from there, but alas to get inside you have to stand in a long line of at least 2 hours. The other famous building designed by Gaudi is the Casa Mila, that looks like it is built out of one piece of rock.
The most famous street is Las Ramblas that ends at Columbo Square which is at the seaside. Next to it, is situated an old covered market with a huge variety of vegies, fruits, fish and seafood. It’s surrounded by many small restaurants with delicious fresh food.
Today my colleague Robert Bajkowski, the author of these pictures, is taking you to Barcelona.
Stay tuned!
