In addition to colors, I also have a weakness for some patterns. Specifically stripes, polka dots and plaid! I also have a weakness for denim, and I realized that I haven’t posted anything with plaid and denim for a long time. Actually, plaid has only appeared twice: once when I wrote about gingham shirts (here), and the other time aboutmy plaid spring coat (here).
My favorite type of plaid is vichy, and I will present it on my blog in April – I am just waiting for warmer weather. Today I am presenting a typical plaid.
Today’s highlight is my plaid shirt. Look at the contrast of the cuffs – such a small detail always catches my eye! Sometimes such details are the most important, at least for me.
I associate plaid with country music style, and where there is country, there is denim. Pairing such a shirt with jeans would be something obvious, but this time I was in the mood to wear a denim midi skirt. I also added red suede boots.
It’s still cool outside, so I put on a navy blue jacket and a vibrant red shawl. I was tempted to take a red purse, but then I thought it would be too much, so I took a caramel cross body bag – notice that the color of my bag, wonderfully matches the trim of the jacket, as well as my belt. 🙂
Today I took you for a walk a walk in Royal Lazienki Park. I really felt Spring just around the corner. 🙂
