Fancy jeans and and earth tones

10/10/2020

My fancy jeans are actually cropped flare jeans. They are fancy to me because the hems of the legs are not folded and sewn, and it looks like the fringe. As a matter of fact, I dislike ripped jeans, so an unfinished hem is a “big deal” to me. Nevertheless, I liked this pair of jeans so much that I bought them in the Spring time.

Such cropped flare jeans look great with ankle boots – I wore khaki suede chunky heeled ankle boots. Truly speaking, the color of these ankle boots inspired me to match them with an outfit in similar restrained, fall colors – earth tones.

I wore a cashmere bottle green pullover and double-breasted brown blend jacket.

Earth tones cover all shades of brown. From the lightest tans to the darkest chocolates, and everything in between. They also cover colors like mustard, burnt orange, cinnamon, toffee, camel, olive, forest green, sage green, cream, and a very brown burgundy. You can even think of warm taupes as earth tones.

Speaking of accessories, I added a shawl with an interesting bottle green and baby blue print. Actually, I think that a pop of this baby blue color perfectly brightens up the whole look.
