Green, pink and caramel

05/10/2017

I have written before that green is my favorite color, although it can be difficult to wear, because it can make one look too pale – sometimes like a ghost. Of course, everything depends on the shade of green. Like with every color, you have to find a shade that suits you.

Not so long ago I went to my friend’s wedding in the States, where there are many brands that we don’t have in Europe. So when I saw this dress on a hanger, I just knew it had to be mine even before I tried it on.

Today I am taking you for a walk to the roof garden of the Warsaw University Library

We have a cool Fall in Poland, so I put a pink woolen DIY sweater/cardigan over my dress. I added caramel accessories on purpose because I wanted to dress it down and make this outfit more casual.

But it’s enough to take off the caramel belt, change pumps into these killer, fuchsia stilettos and add statement earrings, and then I have an evening outfit.

What I like about this dress is not only the color and the peonies, but most of all its cut. The top part is a wrap which is perfect for a silhouette like mine. Besides, I feel very feminine and joyful in this dress!

This is the kind of statement dress that doesn’t need any jewelry, but I couldn’t resist so I added a statement green ring and delicate earrings.
