„James Bond: Moneypenny! What gives?
Moneypenny: Me, given an ounce of encouragement. You’ve never taken me to dinner looking like this. You’ve never taken me to dinner…
James Bond: I would, you know. Only “M” would have me court-martialed for… illegal use of government equipment.
Miss Moneypenny: Flattery will get you nowhere – but don’t stop trying.” – 007 Dr No
A week ago I wrote a post called „Moneypenny Style”, so now you know that Moneypenny style is for me the personification of a stylish and feminine woman, and it’s very close to my heart. I also love James Bond! When I was watching 007 movies in my childhood, I used to imagine that eventually Moneypenny and Bond would be together and…they would live happily ever after. Ok, to tell the truth, I still think so 😉
I am very happy that the latest 007 movies are back on track with their unique classic humour, e.g. “shaken not stirred”, “Bond, James Bond”. Incidentally, in my opinion “Casino Royale” was a very good action movie, but I missed the old Bond with the pinch of salt. I didn’t like Daniel Craig as Bond at the beginning, but I think that over time he has become Bond. I wonder who will be the next Bond? And I am curious if the same actress will play Moneypenny in consecutive movies? Will she manage to challenge the unforgettable and the best Moneypenny ever, Lois Maxwell?
I am chit-chatting about Bond while Moneypenny is waiting 🙂
Today let me invite you to my daydream with Moneypenny, who knows that James will pop into the office in the evening. She decides to get ready just in case, and maybe James will finally take her out to dinner? 😉
Therefore, she puts on a modest little black dress and she still looks very professional as she wears little jewelry.
As she knows that she will not have any time to change after work, she has taken a small evening bag, so that she can quickly transform from a day outfit to an evening outfit by adding a big necklace and a bracelet of big, shiny pearls. A bit of bling-bling will do no harm to anyone, and it’s perfect for a candlelit dinner invitation.
What would you wear on an evening date (not necessarily with Bond 😉)?
