Timeless classics – white and navy

Summer is not only for dresses and skirts, but also for any type of trousers. The more airy they are, the better. I am a big fan of not only jeans, but also of any type of pants. But when it’s really hot, I do not choose jeans but something more airy.

I wore classic colors today, namely white and navy. I put on a white wrap shirt, navy blue pants, caramel block heeled sandals, a statement necklace and my wonderful straw vintage 60s purse. I also added my hoop earrings that I often wear during the Summer.

Today I am taking you for a walk to the Gdanski Bridge, the construction of which I really like a lot!

White and navy clothes are the basis of my closet. If I don’t know what to wear, or I don’t have time to ponder what to put on, then I simply choose something in white and/or navy.

Navy trousers

My favorite pants are usually navy. Navy is classy, and as I have already written many times, it is in my opinion better for Slavic skin tone than black, especially around the face.

The pants are made of a very airy fabric and are a little bit sporty. Depending on what you combine them with, you can dress them up (like in my pictures) or down – it’s enough to change heels into flats or sneakers, put on a striped top and carry a different purse/tote.

You can see other navy trousers in my posts: “Navy is my thing” (here), “How to style green and navy blue” (here) and “Long blazer” (here).

White shirt

A timeless classic. It matches everything i.e. jeans, elegant pants, a pencil skirt or a jeans skirt. It makes the whole look, depending on what I mix it with, and what accessories I add.

You can see other white shirts in my posts: “White shirt and jeans” (here), “How to look professional and feminine in the office” (here) and “Three colors – white, black and red” (here).

Today’s look is also work suitable if your work dress code allows it. To make this outfit more formal just change sandals into pumps and take off the statement necklace.

You can read more about office suitable outfits in my posts: “Dress for success over 40” (here), “Chic at work” (here) and “How to look professional and feminine at work” (here). Speaking of accessories, you can read about it in my posts: “Scarves and neckerchiefs” (here) and “Basic accessories in your wardrobet” (here).

For the last few months I am in a red phase when it comes to my lips and nails. Word is, that if one finds her beloved color of nail polish and lipstick, she should stick with it. Well, who knows, maybe it will be my signature mark ;).
